Playful Minimal Room is a residential interior project designed as a calm yet expressive space for a child, where functionality and softness coexist through a carefully balanced material and colour palette.

The design is centred around light wood textures and warm neutral tones, creating a grounded and timeless base, while yellow accents introduce energy, playfulness, and visual identity. Rather than overwhelming the space, colour is used selectively — appearing in furniture, textiles, and details that subtly guide the atmosphere.

A custom-designed furniture system integrates sleeping, studying, and storage into a single cohesive composition. The built-in desk and wardrobe structure optimises the limited space while maintaining visual clarity and order.

Natural light plays a key role in shaping the interior. Full-height curtains soften the daylight, creating a diffused and comfortable environment suited for both rest and activity.

The room is conceived as a flexible and growing space, where minimal forms allow for adaptability over time, while playful elements preserve a sense of warmth and personality.

Rather than relying on decoration, the project focuses on material honesty, proportion, and quiet details, resulting in an interior that feels both functional and emotionally engaging.
