Kopè

Location: Prizren, Kosovo
Project Type: Retail / Interior Design
Program: Gourmet Delicatessen
Status: Completed
Area: 28 m²
Client: I.B
Year: 2026

The project explores the spatial identity of a delicatessen through material, texture, and atmosphere, creating a retail environment that elevates everyday food experience. Conceived as a compact yet immersive space, the design focuses on clarity of display, warmth of materials, and a refined customer journey.

The interior is organized to highlight the products as the central element of the space. Shelving, counters, and display units are carefully positioned to ensure visual accessibility and intuitive movement, allowing visitors to engage naturally with the offerings.

Materiality plays a key role in shaping the character of the shop. A combination of natural textures and clean surfaces creates a balance between authenticity and contemporary expression, reinforcing the tactile and sensory qualities associated with food.

Lighting is designed to enhance both the space and the products, emphasizing color, detail, and freshness. Rather than acting as a purely functional layer, it becomes an integral part of the spatial experience, contributing to a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Despite its modest scale, the project aims to establish a strong identity through precision, proportion, and attention to detail, transforming the delicatessen into a place that is both practical and experiential.
